How to convert Clients from Trial to a Paid Account

Log into the control panel here: http://backup02.ct.za.soteriabackup.net:6060 and login with your username and password: Username: John Doe (Example) Password: 4KL0987 (Example) Once you have logged in successfully, go to “Reseller Admin” right next to where it says settings and click on “List of Customers” You should see a list of clients already created/listed in the console:
Click on the customer under “Customer Name” that you are trying to convert from Trial to Paid.
To the right of the “Client Name” you should see 3 little icons: The icon at the end is the Trial icon
This means that this client is still in “trial mode” to convert the client to “paid” Go to the icons underneath “Actions”
You would need to click on The “S with an Arrow T” Icon: Screenshot shown: to convert the account to paid! Once you have clicked on the icon to convert it to a Paid account, you will get the following alert/notification:
Click on ‘OK’ once you have done this, you will notice that the “trial icon as shown below:
Will immediately convert to a “Paid” account:
Note: Remember when you create your clients in the Reseller console, the client will AUTOMATICALLY be created in trial mode. It is important that you remember to convert them into a “Paid” account to prevent them from being deactivated in the backup server. The Trial is normally 30 Days and requires a manual change from Trial to Paid mode. Also note that the reason why clients are created in Trial mode is so that you don’t end up paying for an MCAL incase the client does not wish to continue using the service.
