You should choose the time of day for the backup schedule when your computer is most likely to be turned on. This is because any time the backup schedule time occurs when your computer is turned off or not connected will result in a "Missed Schedule" alert in the logs. Although your computer will automatically start the backup when it next connects to the internet if too many Missed Schedule alerts are generated you may find yourself getting a phone call from our monitoring staff to confirm that everything is ok.
You do not have to worry about the backup client slowing down your backup when you use your computer because it is automatically tuned to minimize the CPU and bandwidth usage.
