After reboot, an Acronis service is not started automatically. In Windows event logs you can see this error message:
The service failed to start due to the following error:
The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.
The service could not initialize in the given time frame.
Increase the time-out value for service startup process:
- Open Windows Registry: Start -> Search -> regedit.exe
- Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\
- Create a DWORD named ServicesPipeTimeout.
- Set a value greater than 30000. Generally, 60000 should be enough. The value is set in milliseconds, the base is decimal.
Restart the Acronis Managed Machine Service and run the backup plan.
